News From Chacewater FC

During the past month the first team have put together some very good performances including a 14-0 Junior Cup win at the Victoria Inn (Four Lanes), a nail-biting 4-3 win at Constantine in the Percy Stephens Cup and two draws in the league.

The reserves, after a defeat at Crown Inn Glory (Penzance), beat the previously unbeaten league leaders, Gulval, by 6-2 the following week and followed that with a win at St. Ives Mariners.  In addition, the team have been awarded three points from the non-appearance of Madron for a match in September.

The management are very pleased with the progress of both teams and the attractive football being played.  Both teams should now start to make headway up the league tables.
