The grant is from what was the National Lottery Charities Board but is now called the Community Fund.
Chacewater Recreation Ground is the home
for Chacewater Bowling Club and Chacewater Football Club. It is in the
Recreation Ground that the Carnival holds its outdoor events.
Also in the recreation Ground there is a play area which we have been trying to
improve for many years.
At
last, Chacewater Projects have been awarded a wonderful £86,306.00 to be spent on recreational equipment in the Recreation Ground ONLY.

The Play Area & Skateboard Area are now installed and are
proving very popular with the young people of our Parish. We have also
installed some seats, which adults accompanying their children are very pleased
about!
