Old Cornwall Societies exist to create an awareness of our history and heritage.  As well as celebrating the past, members are careful to note what is happening today, so that future generations may enjoy learning about life in our time.

Chacewater Old Cornwall Society meets on the second Monday of each month from September to May.  Meetings are held in the Killifreth Room of Chacewater Village Hall and begin at 7.30pm.  Annual membership costs £5 and visitors are always welcome to come along - the nightly charge is £1.  Disabled access available.  The Annual General Meeting is held in January and during the season most of the speakers give talks illustrated with slides.  Outings and special events are arranged when possible and a particular highlight is the Christmas Dinner in a Truro hotel.
