Chacewater Football Club
As we come towards the twilight of the football season, the first team finds itself in fourth place in Trelawny League Division One and the reserve team is fifth in Division Four.  The advent of the new Trelawny League this year has, I feel, been good for football in West Cornwall in general as  we have played some teams which we would not have done in the old set-up of the Mining and Falmouth-Helston Leagues.  Some leagues now have a fair amount of travelling, e.g. in Division Four we face trips to Gulval, St. Buryan, Pendeen, Madron and Ruan Minor but with promotion and relegation from the leagues, this could change quite quickly.

These fixtures are correct at the time of going to press but are subject to change by the League. It is the club’s Annual Dinner & Dance on Saturday, 9th June at the Green Lawns Hotel in Falmouth.  7pm for 7.30pm.  A bus will be picking up in Chacewater en route to Truro then Falmouth and back at the end of the evening.  Tickets are available from Mrs. Siân Bennetts or Mark Main.
