A Goose Has Landed in Chacewater!

Chacewater Players were delighted to welcome their new member ~ even if that new member was one with feathers and webbed feet!!!

Priscilla survived her long journey from South London and tells us she is looking forward to appearing on stage in the pantomime “Mother Goose” which is the Players’ next production.

Also working hard to get ready are all the children and cast.  They are busy learning words of script and songs and have started to try to get their feet to move in time with the music!  Backstage crews are scratching their heads wondering how to produce all the special effects that our playwright has asked for.

But we WILL be ready to open in January.  Watch out next month for details about tickets.  Remember that YOUR local group needs your support.  We keep our prices as low as we possibly can so that a family can come along and enjoy good entertainment without it costing “the earth”.

Chacewater Players’ Summer Show

The season’s summer show was the perennial favourite “Charley’s Aunt”.

“Charley’s Aunt” is a tried-and-true comedy that’s been around for a very long time.   As has become a tradition with Chacewater Players’ summer production, the seating was as an informal cabaret style around tables.  Tickets will included a pasty.  Refreshments were available but many took up the invitation to bring a bottle!
