Chacewater CP School

The school was built in 1847 and is still a very important facility in the village.  It has about 200 children attending.

Nearly a year ago the school changed its name to Chacewater Community Primary School.

The head teacher is Miss Sue Grigg.

The school is having extensive refurbishment and extension with help from PFI funding.

Classes 1 and 2 were moved successfully during the holidays. The new playground is in use. The builders are now building the retaining wall and the foundations for the new block.   It is hoped to include picture of the building work shortly.
